Activities & Achievements

Sri Raghavendra Special School was started with a simple purpose: to provide totally free education, training, care, therapy and developmental support to children with intellectual disabilities.

The school subsequently received government approval and became eligible for assistance under the Staff Grant. After completing the required recognition period, pay part assistance was provided for three staff members and one helper.

The government assistance was not enough to meet all the needs of the growing institution. As more children joined the school, expenses increased for additional staff, food, educational materials, training, care, therapy, and daily administration. The Sri Raghavendra Avatharasthala Trust therefore continued to look for additional support to ensure that the school could continue its service.
