Our Facilities

Purpose-built spaces designed around the needs of every child we serve.

Infrastructural Facilities

1

Free Transportaion

We provide free transportation within a 20 km radius of the school, using clean and well-maintained vans. Every trip is accompanied by a responsible driver and a helper/office staff member, ensuring timely pickup and drop-off. Children are handed over only to parents or authorized family members — staff wait safely with the child if no one is available. The safety, care, and well-being of every child is our highest priority.

School Campus

Sri Raghavendra Free Special School is set in a peaceful, undisturbed location that offers a calm, supportive environment for children with intellectual disabilities. Classrooms and learning spaces are safely and thoughtfully arranged for education, training, therapy, and developmental activities, with power backup and excellent ventilation throughout. Our dedicated, specially trained teachers give every child individual attention and encouragement, and the school also provides free, nutritious, and varied meals daily. Parents, donors, and well-wishers are warmly welcome to visit the campus anytime.

3

Specially Designed Classrooms

Classrooms are arranged by age group, developmental level, and individual need. The Pre-Primary classroom focuses on sensory integration, eye contact, and speech development through guided light and movement activities, along with exercises supporting motor development. Primary-level classrooms build daily living skills, self-help habits, and confidence through calming, music, and motivation-based activities — helping each child progress at their own pace. Visitors are welcome to contact our Help Desk to learn more.

Therapy & Developmental Support

Our school provides individualized therapy and developmental support based on each child's age, abilities, and specific needs. The support includes sensory integration, speech and language development, physiotherapy, motor and physical activities, occupational skills, and activities of daily living. Specially planned classroom activities help children improve communication, coordination, attention, social interaction, self-care, confidence, and independence. Our approach focuses on the overall development of every child, with appropriate support provided according to their individual learning and developmental requirements.
